How do I share my story with my teacher?
There are several ways you can share your story with a teacher. Start by opening up your story and clicking on 'Share' under the banner to the right. Share to Google Classroom Share the Link There is also the option of sharing via email directly.

Can students collaborate on a story?
Yes, users from multiple devices and accounts can edit a story at the same time. First open your story and click on 'Share' located below the banner to the right. On the 'Invite' tab, you can then add the names or emails of students. You can also invite a tag you may have set up on your students page. How do I import my students from Google Classroom?
Import Your Class Roster You can import all your classes from Google Classroom and Clever in a couple of clicks. Head on over to your 'Students' page and select 'Invite Students', where you'll see the import options. Once the import is complete, your students will still need to register on Sutori with their Google accounts (https://www.sutori.com/signup/). How do I add my teacher? What do I do with the code?
Click on 'My Teachers' on the profile page and then on the 'Add teacher' box. Can students edit my story? How do I set up assignments or templates for students?
Add Contributors You can add contributors (as many as you wish!) to your story by clicking on 'Share'. On the 'Invite' tab, you can add their names (if they already have an account on Sutori) or email addresses. You can also invite a tag you may have set up on your students page. Comments: how do they work?
You can set different viewing, editing and commenting rights to your story. Click on 'Share' and you'll be able to set individual commenting rights or enable the comments through the link as on the screenshot below: If you are the creator of the story or have been given permission to add comments to a particular story, you can do so on each item on the story.
How do I add / invite my students? What is the code for?
Adding your students is useful if you want to automatically access and add comments to your students work. If you upgrade to Unlimited, students will also have access to all of of Sutori's features. Importing students from Google Classroom or Clever On your 'Students' page, click on the 'Invite Students' button. Click on the Google Classroom or Clever icons to import your classes and students. Students will then need to create an account on Sutori (https://www.sutori.com/signup/) to appear
How do I invite others to work on a story with me?
You can work together on a story in real-time. Click on 'Share' when on the story and give editing rights to others as on the screenshot below. Users who are not on Sutori will receive an invitation to join via email. One of my students has added me but I can't see her. Why?
You may need to reload/refresh the page for the student to appear in your list of students. If a student does not appear, it could also be because the student used the wrong code. If you use Google Classroom or Clever and have already imported your students, you can always "resync" by clicking on 'Invite students'. Useful if a student has subsequently joined one of your classes.
One of my students has forgotten her password. How do I reset it?
Students sign up with an email so they can always use the "Forgot password" link on the login page. If a student is under 13 and has added you as a teacher, you can reset the password on their profile page. Go to your students page and then click on the student in question. You will then see at the top of your screen, the option to reset their password in the 'Security' tab.
Why can I not make my story public or embed it into another website?
When signing up, there is a checkbox to see if you are older than 13. This is for privacy reasons and to protect students identity and data. There are therefore certain actions under 13s cannot do, including making the story public and thus embedding into another website. If you are under 13 by mistake, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll change your account settings.
Is there a limit to the number of students I can enroll?
There is no limit to the number of students that can be part of 'Students' list. You can also import as many classes as you wish from Google Classroom or Clever.
Can I share a project to Google Classroom?
Yes, all stories can be shared with Google Classroom. Click on 'Share' when on a story, then under the 'Share' tab you will see the Google Classroom icon. Click on it and a box will open where you'll be able to select the specific class with which you wish to share.
Can students under 13s sign up?
Yes, students under 13 can sign up to Sutori. In order to protect the privacy and identity of the younger students, there are certain actions under 13s cannot do, including making their stories public and exploring content on Sutori. Furthermore, their full names are never displayed to protect their identity (Kim Jackson will be displayed as Kim J.). 👉 Sutori is COPPA compliant. My school blocks YouTube. What can I do?
We accept videos from Flipgrid, Vimeo, WeVideo, videos from Facebook, Instagram, History.com. You can also upload your own videos in the Mp4 format.
I'm a student, how many teachers can I add?
You can add as many teachers as you wish. Your teacher will either import you from Google Classroom, Clever or will provide you with a code needed to link up with her/him. How do I remove students?
You can remove students from your list in a few clicks as you can see on the screenshot below. If you remove a student by accident, this student can always be imported again from Google Classroom and Clever or add you again using the teacher code.
What are the student tags?
On your 'Students' page, you can assign tags to organize your students. You can also share with stories you have created with specific tags. The 'Students' page has a lot of sorting and organizing options so do not hesitate to play around with it.

Can I co-manage a class of students?
We do not per se have the option of co-managing a group of students on Sutori but here are some workarounds: On LMS Sutori integrates well with Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Google Classroom, Canvas, Powerschool, Blackboard, etc. which usually allow for co-management of classes by multiple students.
