There are several ways you can share your story with a teacher. Start by opening up your story and clicking on 'Share' under the banner to the right. Share to Google Classroom Share the Link ![There is also the option of sharing via email directly.]

How do I get started as a student?
Go to this link to register. You can sign up with any email address or register directly with your Google, Clever or Microsoft accounts. You can then immediately start creating or add a teacher to your account. Add a Teacher Click on the profile menu and select "My teachers" where you can insert the code provided by your teacher. Collaboration: Can students collaborate on a story?
Yes, users from multiple devices and accounts can edit a story at the same time. First open your story and click on 'Share' located below the banner to the right. On the 'Invite' tab, you can then add the names or emails of students. You can also invite a tag you may have set up on your students page.  Please note that if your teacher imported you from Google Classroom or Clever, you will already be linked to your teacher and you do not need to add the code. . Once this is done, they will automatically be added to your list and assigned their Google Classroom class tag.  to your story by clicking on 'Share'. On the 'Invite' tab, you can add their names (if they already have an account on Sutori) or email addresses. You can also invite a group or class you may have set up on your students page. . If you use Google Classroom or Clever and have already invited your students, you can always "resync" by clicking on 'Invite students'. Useful if a student has subsequently joined one of your classes.

One of my students has forgotten her password. How do I reset it?
Students sign up with an email so they can always use the "Forgot password" link on the login page. If a student is under 13 and has added you as a teacher, you can reset the password on their profile page. Go to your students page and then click on the student in question. You will then see at the top of your screen, the option to reset their password in the 'Security' tab.

Is there a limit to the number of students I can enroll?
There is no limit to the number of students that can be part of 'Students' list. You can also invite as many classes as you wish from Google Classroom or Clever.

Why can I not make my story public or embed it into another website?
When signing up, there is a checkbox to see if you are older than 13. This is for privacy reasons and to protect students identity and data. There are therefore certain actions under 13s cannot do, including making the story public and thus embedding into another website. If you are under 13 by mistake, email help@sutori.com and we'll change your account settings.

Can I share a project to Google Classroom?
Yes, all stories can be shared with Google Classroom. Click on 'Share' when on a story, then under the 'Share' tab you will see the Google Classroom icon. Click on it and a box will open where you'll be able to select the specific class with which you wish to share.

How do I remove students?
You can remove students from your list as you can see on the screenshot below. If you remove a student by accident, this student can always be imported again from Google Classroom and Clever or add you again using the teacher code.

How do I organize my students into groups / classes / tags?
On your 'Students' page, you can assign tags to organize your students into classes and groups. Students can have several tags. These are useful if you wish to share stories with specific classes and groups. How to add a tag How to share with a tag

I'm a student, how many teachers can I add?
You can add as many teachers as you wish. Your teacher will either import you from Google Classroom, Clever or will provide you with a code needed to link up with her/him. Take a look at the screenshot below to see where you need to input the code when logged onto your account. First, access the page to add your teacher . 👉 Sutori is COPPA compliant. . Once this is done, they will automatically be added to your list of students on your 'Students' page. You may need to refresh the page for them to appear.

How do I invite my students from Clever?
You can invite all your classes from Clever. Head on over to your 'Students' page on Sutori and select 'Invite Students', where you'll see the Clever option. Once your students are invited, they will need to register on Sutori with their Clever accounts (https://www.sutori.com/signup/). Once done, they will automatically be added to your list and assigned their Clever tag. You can also access Sutori through Clever's Teacher Library of applications. . There are certain actions under 13s cannot do, including making their stories public and exploring content on Sutori. 👉 If you are over 13, please email help@sutori.com and we will change the account settings.

Can I co-manage a class of students?
We do not per se have the option of co-managing a group of students on Sutori but here are some workarounds: On LMS Sutori integrates well with Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Google Classroom, Canvas, Powerschool, Blackboard, etc. which usually allow for co-management of classes by multiple students. Is there a grading system for quizzes?
Quizzes on Sutori are more formative than summative. This means that they are a way for teachers to monitor student learning and provide ongoing feedback, rather than evaluate student learning. If you wish to keep your Sutori projects on a different account than your school account, you can. We understand many of you will lose access to Sutori when you graduate and change emails.
