# How does the copy feature work?

Anyone who has access to a story can copy it to have their own version.

This is a great feature for **template assignments**. It enables teachers to pre-fill a story that students can then copy/duplicate and complete. Students must copy the story themselves to have their own version, as on the screenshot below.

➡️ On Google Classroom, a teacher can provide a copy of a story for individual students, but this is not a feature available on Sutori. 


| Please note that you cannot disable the copy feature.
